PBL Grant

The PBL Grant money may be used for equipment and supplies. The Foundation will award one $$2,000 grant to a school building.  This grant must be applied for by the building's School Improvement Team.

School Improvement Teams may submit proposals for consideration by a selection committee of Foundation and community leaders. The Foundation will award funding to the PBL School District for selected proposals. Grants are expected to be completed within one year from the grant award date. PBL Grant evaluation and community-wide sharing of the results  will be part of the process. The Foundation would like to be notified when you are doing activities for which grant money was used so that someone from our organization can come to take photos for the newspaper.

Proposals are due in the Superintendent's Office by January 6, 2012 and must be signed by both your building principal and the Superintendent. Grants will be awarded in May and must be completed by May of the following year. Priorities will be given for:

·       Student achievement, language arts, math, social science, science, fine arts, health/P.E.

·       Technology

·       Professional development

·       Community partnership

·       Innovative/creative projects

·       Interdisciplinary approach/number of students impacted by the grant

If you have any questions, please contact Superintendent Cliff McClure or your building principal.
