Book Fairs Fall, 2009

During the 2009-2010 school year, the Foundation provided 1,019 students with coupons worth $4,388 to be used at the annual Book Fairs. During the book fair, each student is provided with a coupon that can be used to purchase a book of their choice.   The breakdown by school is:

Clara Peterson Elementary School - 376 students each received a $4 coupon ($1,504)
Eastlawn Upper Elementary School - 331 students each received a $4 coupon ($1,324)
PBL Jr. High School - 312 students each received a $5 coupon ($1,560)

The PBL Education Foundation would like to thank the Farmers-Merchants National Bank of Paxton and Melvin, the Gibson Area Hospital, and an Anonymous Citizen from Paxton who generously provided the funding for this year's book fairs.
