Book Fairs Fall, 2007

For the 2007-2008 school year, the Foundation provided 1,050 students with coupons to be used at the annual Book Fair. Each student is allowed to purchase one book with the coupon.  The total value of these coupons was $4,517.  The breakdown by school was:

Clara Peterson Elementary School - 392 students each received a $4 coupon
Eastlawn Upper Elementary School - 341 students each received a $4 coupon
PBL Jr. High School - 317 students each received a $5 coupon

The PBL Education Foundation would like to thank the Farmers-Merchants Bank of Paxton and Melvin, the Gibson Area Hospital, and an Anonymous Citizen from Paxton who generously provided the funding for this year's book fairs.

 

A student from PBL's Eastlawn Upper Elementary School purchased a book at the school's annual book fair held October 8-12, 2007.	Students at PBL Junior High School select their book choice at the Book Fair held September 10-14, 2007.
