Foundation Events
The PBL Education Foundation also finds sponsors for three important programs in our district:
Since 1999, the Foundation has provided coupons to all students in grades K-8 in order that every child can purchase at least one book at his or her building book fair.
Since 2004, the Foundation has secured funds from a local business to pay for a formal reception at the annual Senior Awards Night ceremony. Each year over 40 scholarships and awards are presented to PBL’s graduating seniors.
In 2011, the PBL Education Foundation took over sponsorship of the Student of the Month and Student of the Year Award in the high school. The award is now open to all high school grade levels and is intended to honor accomplishments which demonstrate the district mission of “excellence through rigor, relevance and relationships.”
